Dès 6 heures du matin, le samedi 24 septembre, heure où d’ordinaire seuls les pèlerins au départ du chemin de Saint-Jacques troublent la sérénité de ce lieu chargé d’histoire, une activité inhabituelle régnait au pied de la cathédrale du Puy-en-Velay, place du For. L'antenne relais a été installée dans le jardin de l'évêché. Après le Dyke d’Aiguilhe en 2015, la forteresse de Polignac en 2014, Arlempes, Chalencon, la Rochelambert, les années précédentes, le Radio club du Puy-en-Velay, regroupant les radios amateurs* du département, s’était fixé comme objectif de transmettre depuis la place du For pour faire connaître au plus grand nombre le patrimoine local. Mission réussie au delà des espérances du club, puisque 110 contacts radio ont été réalisés avec plusieurs pays européens. Chaque « station » - nom donné aux radio amateurs contactées - recevra une carte pour concrétiser et valider ce contact. Carte représentant le logo de la ville du Puy-en-Velay et la cathédrale ainsi qu’une description de l'édifice. Un radioamateur c'est quoi ? L'émission d'amateur est une activité scientifique qui permet d'établir des liaisons hertziennes (radio) avec les radioamateurs du monde entier. Elle permet d'acquérir des connaissances techniques dans les domaines de la radio et de l'électronique et de développer des liens d'amitié entre amateurs de différents pays. Qui est le radioamateur ? Le radioamateur est une personne qui a reçu l'autorisation officielle de communiquer par radio, avec d'autres personnes, elles aussi légalement autorisées. Ces communications se font sur les bandes de fréquences allouées par l'Union Internationale des Télécommunications (UIT) au service amateur et au service amateur par satellite. Le radioamateur pratique une activité à caractère technique ; ses compétences sont contrôlées. L'Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR) lui délivre un certificat d'opérateur radioamateur et lui attribue un indicatif l'autorisant à exploiter les fréquences allouées par l'Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes (ARCEP). Certains radioamateurs bénévoles, motivés par la sauvegarde des vies humaines et se mettent volontairement, avec leur matériel et leur compétence, au service de la Sécurité Civile. C'est le cas de membres de l'ADRASEC 43 reconnue comme infrastructure utilisable lors d'opérations de secours en se tenant à la disposition du préfet. Lévignac Publié le 01/10/2016 Les habitants redécouvrent le télégraphe Chappe José Fernandez a expliqué aux visiteurs le fonctionnement du télégraphe Chappe./Photo DDM Lors des Journées du patrimoine, l'association Valcédo a organisé des visites guidées de la tour Chappe, au cœur de la forêt de Bouconne, avec José Fernandez, directeur technique des services de la base de loisirs en guise de guide. Avant l'invention du morse, le télégraphe Chappe était un moyen de communication visuel par sémaphore pouvant se propager sur plusieurs centaines de kilomètres. Cette façon de communiquer mise au point en 1794 porte le nom de son inventeur, Claude Chappe. Les sémaphores étaient placés sur des tours dites tour Chappe. Soigneusement préparée, la tour a accueilli également pour l'occasion une exposition de photos rappelant les origines et le but de l'édifice. Dans sa visite, José a expliqué le fonctionnement du télégraphe optique, le travail des premiers fonctionnaires des postes et télécommunications et des stationnaires chargés de transmettre les messages sur la ligne Narbonne-Bordeaux via la forêt de Bouconne. En 1843, Samuel Morse inventa le télégraphe électrique mettant fin à la ligne sémaphorique de Chappe. C'est ainsi que le stationnaire quitta la tour de Bouconne qui entra de fait dans l'histoire des communications et de notre patrimoine.

Bonjour Mea Culpa, je me suis trompé de texte dans la présentation des journées de la science à Limoges. Voici donc le texte pour 2016 par Sylvain F1UJT. Avec mes excuses et mes 73. Raymond F-15873 Bonjour à tous, Comme l'an passé, nous sommes cordialement invités par le Centre de Culture Scientifique et Technique Industrielle du Limousin (CCSTI) à participer au village des sciences de Limoges. Cette activité se déroulera les journées des jeudi 13 et vendredi 14 octobre de 9H à 17H (accueil des scolaires, repas offert pour les participants) et les après midi des samedi 15 et dimanche 16 octobre (ouverture au public). Le thème de cette année est les sciences et le sport. Nous avons donc proposé un atelier de goniométrie sportive qui a tout de suite plu, en complément d'ateliers plus classiques que chacun pourra apporter comme l'an passé (morse, oscillo, néons...) Afin d'organiser au mieux notre présence (et réserver les repas), je vous remercie de vous rapprocher de Bernard F5HDN ou moi pour nous indiquer vos disponibilités à cette période, dès que possible. Cette participation se fera aux cotés de partenaires institutionnels tels que la Faculté des Sciences de Limoges, l'ENSIL, EDF, laboratoire de recherche XLIM... Notre club a répondu présent et a déja envisagé 3 ateliers animés par les membres présents : - Station HF F8KFZ/P "contacter le bout du monde depuis le village" - Atelier ludique : "Regarde ta voix" - Atelier ludique : "La télégraphie en son et lumière" - Atelier ludique : "Néon HF" Les ateliers sont la pour montrer des principes simples, principalement aux enfants, et sont en lien avec le thème de l'année 2015 : Année de la Lumière. Le jeudi et le vendredi sont réservés à l'accueil de scolaires, du niveau CP à la 3e. Une occasion pour nous de rencontrer les jeunes et de les sensibiliser à la radio. Le samedi et le dimanche sont ouverts au grand public, là aussi encore une occasion de promotion. The amateur radio license with the call sign 3Y0Z "has also been renewed and will be used during the Bouvet DXpedition 2018".
