TX5K ---> The TX5K team arrived at Clipperton at 04.30 UTC on 27 February, were able to land on the 28th and expected to set up radios on 1 March. The log will be uploaded to LoTW "within six months after the end of the DXpedition". + SILENT KEYS + RSGB Life Vice President John Patrick Hawker, MBE (G3VA) passed away on 21 February at 90 years of age. In addition to writing the "Technical Topics" column in the Radio Society of Great Britain's journal for fifty years (1958-2008), he also authored various books on electronics and radio and television engineering. In 2006 he was inducted into the CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame and made a Member of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for "Services to Radio Communications".
