I - To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the first experiments conducted by Guglielmo Marconi in the Gulf of Tigullio, ARI Rapallo will be active as IY1MR from 18 November to 4 December. UA - Commemorating the 120th anniversary of Fridtjof Nansen's legendary expedition to the Arctic Ocean, the RT9K/9 Dxpedition [425DXN 1329] is set to start on 14 February 2017. Five operators expect to be active from IOTA groups AS-054, AS-121, AS-104 and AS-068. Depending on weather and ice conditions, plans are to spend 4-5 days on each island, and to operate CW, SSB and digital modes with three stations on 40-10 metres.
