[TNX The Daily DX] =========================== *** 4 2 5 D X N E W S *** **** GOOD TO KNOW ... **** =========================== Edited by I1JQJ & IK1ADH Direttore Responsabile I2VGW 3Y0Z: BOUVET 2018 ---> The "Team Statement of Commitment" that can be found on the DXpedition's website (www.bouvetdx.org) reads as follows: A DXpedition to Bouvet is not to be taken lightly. Bouvet is a serious and dangerous place that demands attention to safety, serious planning, physical and mental endurance, time to allow for storms and rough seas and a team with the right balance of size, experience, talent, emotional stability and sense of purpose. We feel we have met these criteria, but when we arrive at Bouvet, we also need to attend to our obligations to you, our financial supporters and DX audience. How we meet those obligations and expectations will define us as a team. It is our belief that, given the rarity of this entity, we must pull out all the stops. We must utilize maximum legal power, the best antennas, world class transceivers, propagation studies, the best location on the island, a safe vessel and crew, highly qualified helicopter pilots and the complementary resources of our team. We will need near real-time information flowing to us through our extensive pilot system, so that we can maximize our primary purpose - providing QSOs. We have a conscience. We will not do this just for the sake of doing it and end up using a compromised location, less than 24/7 coverage of all open bands, limited power, inefficient antennas and insufficient time at the island. We want to do this right, and give everyone the best possible chance of making the QSOs they desire, be they on 160, the WARC bands, SSB, CW, RTTY or 6 and 2 meter EME. Rest assured that we will do our very best for you! No shortcuts or compromises! 425 DX NEWS MAGAZINE ---> The December 2016 issue is now available for download at www.425dxn.org/monthly/index.html. [TNX IZ3EBA] IOTA NEWS ---> "A final reminder that the last date for mailing applications or updates to checkpoints for inclusion in the 2017 Honour Roll and other performance tables is 31 January 2017", Roger Balister (G3KMA) posted to www.rsgbiota.org on 19 January. "If postmarked after that date, they will be processed in the normal way but the scores will be held over to the following year's listing. It is important that participants who have not updated since the 2012 annual listings and wish to remain listed should make a submission on or before 31 January 2017. Chasers with a pending score of more than 100 IOTAs valid for the basic award who have never submitted an application should consider entering the programme now. The IOTA Board has before it a proposal to withdraw chasers' access to records that are being used for essentially private benefit without any apparent intention to enter the programme". + SILENT KEY + Kurt Bindschedler, HB9MX passed away on 17 January. Born in 1926, he was the doyen of Swiss DXers and the first President of the Swiss DX Foundation. Over a 15-year span he operated multiple times as S79MX from the Seychelles, including activity from at that time rare IOTA groups such as the Aldabra, Cosmoledo, Amirante and Farquhar Islands. =========================== *** 4 2 5 D X N E W S *** ******* QSL ROUTES ******* =========================== Edited by I1JQJ & IK1ADH Direttore Responsabile I2VGW =================================================================== CALL MANAGER CALL MANAGER CALL MANAGER =================================================================== 3B9FR M0OXO EM500L UR6LLC T88HS JA6KYU 3D2JS WB2TJO EN1UCF UR7UT T88TK JI6BFF 3V8CB LX1NO FS4WBS IZ1MHY T88UW JH7IPR 4K9W DL6KVA GB2GM G3UCQ T88WM JQ6FQI 4L9M R3XA GB8KW G0UKN TM57A F-11734 4M1K OH0XX HC1WDT W0OR TM57D F-11734 4M4C YV4YC HF6ESK SP6PWW TM57H F-11734 4S7KKG DC0KK HG14HST HA2NA TM57N F-11734 7Q7BP G3MRC HH2AA NR6M UE74M RQ7L 7U9C SM4VPZ HH8/N3BNA KA2AEV V31AX M0URX 7X5KBS 2E0SDV HK1MW N2OO V31RF K8NDS 8Q7RB GM4DLG HP2/IZ2ZTQ IZ2LSP [d] V31VC SP7VC 9A1957AA 9A2AA HP2/IZ2ZTQ IZ2ZTQ [b] V31WO WO9K 9H2017EU 9H1SP HV0A IK0FVC V31YN DJ4KW 9M6XRO M0URX J79WTA HB9MFM V51RJ EA7FTR 9Q6AL DF9TA KC4AAA K1IED V51WH DK2WH A45WH NI5DX KL7SB/VP9 NI5DX V63ARJ JA3ARJ A62A A61BK LZ114RF LZ1YE V63LSS JH3LSS A65BG PA5M NH0DX/NH2 JL3RDC VE100VIMY/VE2 N7RO A65DR N4GNR OF0TA OH2TA VE100VIMY/VE3 N7RO A71TA IZ8CLM OH100FIN OH2AP VK3FY/DU8 M0OXO A71YY M0OXO OK2RRR OK2RZ VP2VAW W4KZK A75GT N4GNR OM42KYSUCE OM3CND VP8DMH M0PRL AP2TN DJ9ZB OX90EDR OZ1ACB VR2USJ JF1RCY AU2WBR VU2NRO P29LL EA7FTR VU2RBQ DJ9RB CN2VB UA4WHX R1238M RK3AW W2T KC2SWB CO6HLP IZ1DSH R170VN RW3VA W3T W4AAW CX2AQ EA5KB R17TCNY RN3RQ [b] XR7T CE7PGO D2XX CT1CRS R17TCNY UA3RU [d] XT2HB F5MVB DC500LS DM2AJK R1CA/P R1CX XW4ZW K1SE DM5LUTHER DJ6SI R1QAP RA1QV [b] YJ0WW JA2NQG DP0GVN DL5EBE R1QAP UA1QV [d] ZD8KFC N4GNR DU1/JA3FJE JN3VQM R90DOSAAF RN3RQ ZD8SC WB4GHY DU1KA NR6M RI1ANA ZS1OIN ZF2LC W2SM E51ADD K7ADD RZ1CWC RW6HS ZF2PG K8PGJ E51AMF K7ADD SN0GKR SP3PGR ZS8Z ZS1LS E51WWA AD7AF SN25BWOSP SQ4O ZV2CV PY2XIZ EI55WAW EI6AL T88AQ JH6WDG ZZ8P PT2GTI 7Y0A Ben Lagha, 18 rue Louis Aragon, 26200 Montelimar, France 5A1AL Randy Becnel, 243 Red Top Rd, Lumberton MS 39455-5214, USA CE7PGO Bruno Schulbach Flores, Casilla 631, 5312351 Osorno, X Region de Los Lagos, Chile K7ADD Bengt-Erik Norum, 16221 300th PL NE, Duvall WA 98109, USA PJ4B Peter Jelgersma, Noordzijde 14, 2411 RA Bodegraven, The Netherlands PT2GTI Roberto Franca Stuckert, SHIN QI 7 Conjunto 12 Casa 14, Brasilia - DF, 71515-120, Brazil PY2XIZ Willian Araujo Santolica, Rua Ceara 201, Cabreuva - SP, 13315-000, Brazil T88SM Hakata Radio, P.O.Box 232, Hakata, 812-8799, Japan VP8CLE David Houlden, 29 Court Barton, Portland, DT5 2HJ, United Kingdom VU2NRO National Institute of Amateur Radio, 6-3-1092/93 Raj Bhawan Road, Somajiguda, Hyderabad 500082, India W4KZK Charles E.
