QSL via home call and LoTW. UA - Special station R80UPOL is active on 23-25 February to commemorate the 80th anniversary of North Pole-1, the first Soviet manned drifting station in the Arctic Ocean. Its callsign was UPOL, and the radioman was the legendary Ernst Krenkel (RAEM). The special station operates from Teply Stan near Moscow, where the field-test of the expedition took place in February 1937. QSL via RW3FS (direct or bureau) and Club Log's OQRS.
