AVES ISLAND ---> The YX0V DXpedition to Aves Island has not been cancelled, but put on hold by the Venezuelan Navy for reasons beyond the operating team's control [425DXN 1321]. "We are expected to meet with the Navy personnel in charge of the logistics of the transportation to the Island by the middle of next week at the latest, and we hope to have a clear schedule for departure", the Pilot Station (Steve Romagni, W4DTA) reported on 15 September.
