KP2 - Scott, NE9U will be active as NE9U/KP2 (QSL via home call) from the US Virgin Islands (NA-106) from 11 November to 5 December. [TNX NG3K] P4 - John, W2GD will operate again as P40W from Aruba (SA-036) on 20-28 November. TK - A large team from Slovenia (S50P, S53BB, S53CC, S53F, S53MM, S53RM, S53WW, S53ZO, S55OO, S57C, S57L and S57VW) will be active as TK/ homecall from Corsica (EU-014) on 20-29 November. During the CQ WW DX CW Contest they and TK5EP will operate TK0C (QSL via LoTW, eQSL or via S50C). [TNX NG3K] V3 - Robert, DL7VOA will be active as V34AO from Hopkins, Belize on 18- 30 November, CQ WW DX CW Contest included. He will operate mainly CW typically during the local evening and night hours. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX NG3K] V6 - Sho, JA7HMZ will be active again as V63DX from Pohnpei (OC-010), Micronesia from 24 November to 1 December. He will participate in the CQ WW DX CW Contest as V6A. [TNX NG3K] VE - Pierre, VE3KTB and Alex, VE1RUS [425DXN 1380] are active again as VY0RAC from the Eureka Amateur Radio Club station (VY0ERC) on Ellesmere Island (NA-008), until 10 November. This callsign is good for the RAC Canada 150 Award Programme (http://wp.rac.ca/rac150/) VK9N - Rob, M0VFC expects to be active as VK9/M0VFC from Norfolk Island (OC-005) on 3-6 November. He is no longer able to be active from Signy Island (South Orkneys), but on rare occasions Mike gets the chance to operate as VP8SGK from King Edward Point on South Georgia Island (AN-007) and as VP8ROT from Rothera Base on Adelaide Island (AN-001), Antarctica. "Our team is intact and ready. We have 17,000 pounds of equipment. It has been tested, sorted, inventoried and packed into our 40-foot sea container. We have discussed all conceivable contingencies, including rough seas, clouds and fog, high winds and emergencies at sea and on shore. We have studied propagation, maximized our location on the island, selected the best radio equipment, and have thought first and foremost of safety. All of this culminated when we sealed our sea container on October 9th, entered it into customs bond, placed it on a truck and watched it begin its journey to Punta Arenas, Chile. Our die has been cast. Now, a new chapter begins: one of reflection, waiting anxiously and hoping (praying) that all will go well from this point on. We have been blessed by the worldwide support of individual amateur radio operators, clubs and foundations. They have backed us, overwhelmingly.
